The Slammer & Squire is a well-manicured course that preserves the pristine, unspoiled nature of the region. Designed by Bobby Weed, with player consultants Sam Sneed and Gene Sarazen, the course hosted three nationally televised events in its inaugural year. The World Golf Hall of Fame offers more than just the history and legends that have molded the game into what it is today. The exhibit experience flows like a golf course, using the 18 holes as a metaphor to organize the dynamic blend of members' personal artifacts, images and victorious moments. The facility also houses many captivating exhibits including a replica of the St. Andrews Swilcan Burn Bridge, an interactive swing analyzer, and a mini-theater.
